the weekend

This weekend was great :) On Thursday night we got to meet Lorenzo William Jardine--Jimmy's roommate's new baby. He is so cute! And so tiny! He's about five pounds, so he just feels completely fragile to hold, but he is precious. It was really fun catching up with Kyle and Emmeline and also introducing Tori to their dog--she was terrified, but also a little enthralled. Go figure.

Saturday morning we (and Adam) went to an auction in Salt Lake. It was really cool--and there were some things going for dirt cheap! One van we all liked (it was a big camp kind of van) went for three hundred dollars! That'd be worth it just to not have to rent a U-haul when you move! But I would worry about the work it needed--you don't get any kind of guarantees when you buy something at this sale. But it was a lot of fun to see the auction and hear the fast talking and all.


That evening we went with Jim's work to the Real Salt Lake soccer game. It was a good game and the weather was perfect! Tori did great--although she would get scared when everybody would stand and cheer (or boo). We had a fun time watching the game (we won) and cashing in the vouchers they gave us for refreshments :). What a fun time!
