On Saturday we went to the Lamb and Wool Festival at Thanksgiving point. We got to see the lambs and the yarn and knit/crochet projects. Definitely the best part though was the sheep shearing--we got to see a sheep actually sheared! It was very cool. Such a fun day--we love having the passes so we can just run in.

I'll be the first to say that those pony rides were the gateway to my falling in LOVE with horses. I think my parents were hoping I'd give up on it -- but here I am 20 years later still completely head over heels with the sport and subsequent responsibility! It's an expensive hobby -- but when something gives you THAT much peace on even the craziest days ... I justify it.
