California: Pt. I

Thursday night Jim took his last final for Summer term and Tori and I hung out with Adam and Shannon in Provo. They took us to Shrek 4 which is in 3D. Tori was a pill and wouldn't wear the glasses, but she loves Shrek so she had a good time anyway :) Thanks guys! After Jim finished we hit the road for the long drive to California. We made it in Friday morning and went to the Penrods house for a couple hours of sleep. They had left for Hawaii the night before so we had the house to ourselves. When we woke up we ran some errands and then headed over to the Highams for a nice relaxing day (with more naps). That night Doug and Liz took us out to dinner at The Habit--a great hamburger/sandwich/salad place. It was soo good! Thank you Doug and Liz!

Saturday was a multi-stake volleyball tournament that Mike and Liz played in. We went and watched a bit and it was fun to see them play! Tori also had a blast playing with the volleyball :) Afterwards we went home, napped, re-packed (again), and then headed to the airport to catch our flight!
