We were able to go to California to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families and to have Tori's blessing in my home ward. We left on Monday night after selling our apartment contract--that night and in the midst of packing! We made it early Tuesday morning, and spent a wonderful week with family and really great food. We tried to split the time between the two families, and even did double dinners a couple times (including Thanksgiving--yum!) We had such a great time seeing everyone. We also celebrated Jim's birthday this week!
Sunday was Tori's blessing and we were able to do it in my home ward. It was great and Jimmy did a fantastic job with the blessing itself. Afterwards my mom threw a big dinner at our house for both families and some friends. It was so nice to see everyone and be able to catch up a little bit. Tori was a champ the whole week--completely behaved and let everyone hold her and pass her around. It was so fun seeing everyone! I'll try to post pictures, but there are more at my facebook.
