4/11/11

I really didn't like the way Christi looked on Monday and we called Dr. Batista (who wasn't there still) and Dr. Rasmussen. She said everything hurt and there was a tightness in her chest. We talked with Jerry at Patient Relations at the hospital to try and get some help with our trying to figure out who was really monitoring and in charge of Christi's case. She was very nice and seemed to understand our dilemma and said she would talk to the offices of Batista and Rasmussen and get it worked out for us. We called Gail to come watch the kids for a few minutes since Rasmussen wanted to see Christi. I dropped her off and headed back to relieve Gail. She was there for 4 hours getting blood work down and some fluids in the office. They agreed she should be on Ibuprofen and alternate it with Tylenol. She felt better after the IV fluids and we stopped at Carl's Jr. because she felt like some chicken strips. I was just glad she felt good enough to want any kind of food! Her nausea was getting much better, although her appetite wasn't very good yet.
